Hi, I’m Michelle, an LA based designer.

With a passion for design and art, I thrive on collaboration and enjoy learning from every new experience.

I’m always inspired by other people, and I love that through design, my work can make an impact on real people. My work is always framed by the lens of real stories.

With a B.A. in Sociology, my studies and experience have allowed me to build the necessary skills in not just researching, but aiming to get a deep understanding of individuals. This inspired me to go beyond just the studying of individuals and to actually apply myself into problem solving for people.

I was able to intern at a startup as a UX Researcher, where I gained valuable real-world knowledge on user research and applying business goals, and I was also given the opportunity to do some design work. Seeing I could combine my skills of research and empathizing with others with my personal passion of visual art and design motivated me to pursue a path towards UX Design.

In university, I took part in several campus organizations as a marketing and graphic designer where I was responsible for designing marketing materials and web pages, as well as collaborating with other designers. After graduating, I worked as a designer for a non-profit organization, where I aided in building out the org’s brand identity and a design system for their developer console.

I aim to continue growing as a designer that works well to understand and design for the needs of others and works well in a collaborative environment.
